Context

For each system, I worked as an outsourced designer and consultant. The services were built on SAP. On the SIBUR project, another designer and I worked under Timofey Makoveev to make the processes more human and the interface considerably more appealing than a typical enterprise system.

Challenge

Bring complex full-cycle people processes into clear role-based workspaces for employees, managers, HR, and HRBPs.

What I did

    Designed the employee workspace for leave, sick days, and everyday requests.

    Created manager journeys for shifts, team availability, and responsibility mapping.

    Designed HR tools for employee learning and development.

  4. 04

    Made HRBP reporting easier to understand and act on.

    Prepared the solutions and handed them over to engineering.

Outcome

  • The platforms required processes and journeys for different roles: employees, managers, HR, and HRBPs.
  • Paper-based and fragmented processes became simple digital journeys.
  • For SIBUR, we combined more human process logic with a visually appealing interface.
  • The work covered companies employing more than 200,000 people in total.
  • Integration and rollout took place after my work on the project had ended.

05 / What I took away

In enterprise projects, I map the roles and processes before moving to the interface. Otherwise, the screens simply reproduce the old confusion.
